  • Every Monday evening/7pm - Prayer Shawl Ministry meets
  • Every Wednesday evening since November 12, 2008, our facility has been the host-site of the Free Wednesday Community Dinner which was started by a small group of ladies in the church.  Marion-Polk Food Share is one of our partners and they posted an informative article in January 2018:  https://www.marionpolkfoodshare.org/wednesday-night-dinner-lifts-community/  A "slow evening" is around 350 meals served.  As of February 20, 2019, over 200,000 meals have been served.  It's an ecumenical, non-proselytizing event funded by donation, prepared, served, and cleaned up by Volunteers.  You're welcome to offer your assistance ...

Fifth Sunday Potluck - held in the multi-purpose room following worship

Palm Sunday has taken on a truly ecumenical feel in Silverton.  A "walk" begins at our church, sometimes includes a Methodist mule, always includes palm fronds, and music.  The main service is generally held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Oak Street (10:30).

Maundy Thursday Service - the Thursday just prior to Easter.  The Elder team provides a service for all that is focused on "the last supper."

Easter Sunday - SonRise Service 8 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by breakfast served in the multi-purpose room at 9:00 and the main worship with our weekly Open Communion at 10:00.

September - during Mt. Angel's Oktoberfest, FCC has a booth serving delicious sandwiches, O'Fest Sausage and Snow Cones.  In 2017, FCC ranked #5 in highest sales!  This is our major fundraiser and funds go to the maintenance on our facility.

First Weekend in November - Holiday Bazaar

Thanksgiving - Sunday before - the Community has an ecumenical service at our church followed by a pie social.
